Peabody home sales range from $426,000 to $795,000 as August recording surge brings 14 deeds

Peabody recorded 14 property transfers between July 17 and Aug. 15, eight with disclosed sale prices ranging from $426,000 to $795,000 and a median of $715,000. The top sale was 49 Blaney Ave Lot B at $795,000. Fairview Avenue had two transfers, both without disclosed prices. Six of the 14 deeds, most involving buyers and sellers sharing the same name, did not disclose a sale price, several consistent with family or trust transfers. Twelve of the 14 deeds were recorded within a three-day span, Aug. 12 to Aug. 14, though the data does not indicate whether that reflects broader market activity or registry filing timing.
