Peabody Deeds Show Seven-Figure Median Amid Wave of Trust Transfers
Peabody recorded 15 property transfers from Sept. 1 to Sept. 4, but only seven disclosed a sale price, ranging from $535,000 to $1,155,000 with a median of $1,011,000. The period's top sale was 2 Osborne St at $1,155,000, sold by Shado Bowler LLC to Smailyn Portorreal De La Rosa. Twelve and 14 Tuckers Ct sold the same day from Richard Wachlin to his own revocable trust, part of a broader pattern in which roughly half of all recorded transfers moved property between an individual and a trust or entity in that same person's name, a factor likely tied to the high share of undisclosed prices.
