Peabody Home Sales Mix Family Trust Transfers With Deals Near $700,000
Peabody recorded 15 property deed transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, according to the Essex County Southern District Registry of Deeds. Only five of those transactions disclosed a sale price, ranging from $485,000 to $791,000, with a median of $693,500. The month's highest disclosed sale was 9 Nancy Ave., which sold for $791,000 on Sept. 8 to Michael Doyon. Nine of the 15 recorded deeds, the majority, transferred property between parties sharing a last name or into a family trust, and none of those nine disclosed a price. The data shows a mix of estate, trust and third-party sales rather than a uniform pattern of open-market activity.
