PEABODY — The Conservation Commission continued four matters to March and affirmed one minor permit. Snow blocked site visits for the Welch Elementary School certificate of compliance, continued 5-0, and for 18 Pearl Street, continued 6-0. Nicole Ferrara of LEC said restoration at 26 Trask Road was about one-fourth done when frozen ground halted work.
The 91 Owner Street retaining wall and pool hearing was also continued 6-0 after members voiced "a lot of reservations" about fill near the brook, learned abutters were notified only the day of the January meeting, and noted DEP appeared not to have the filing. Commissioners also affirmed 6-0 a roofing and siding permit for 20 Wallace Street and told the 41 Beacon Boulevard owner to file an amendment for a breezeway.
