PEABODY — The Peabody Conservation Commission continued two Lowell Street hearings to June 10 over neighbor objections. Both votes, on 309 and 303 Lowell Street, passed 4-3, with Amanda Green, Brian Cassidy and Leslie Cotamarsh opposed. Attorney John Kelty, representing the applicants, cited scheduling conflicts and a Planning Board matter.
Residents cited a petition they said had more than 70 signatures and raised flooding concerns near Proctor Brook. A commission speaker said the applicant still owes stormwater paperwork. The commission also ratified an emergency certificate for wildlife work near the Ipswich River pump station, 5-2, and approved a negative determination 7-0 for an after-the-fact shed and gazebo at 24 Willow Bray Drive.
Owners must install two concrete no-disturb posts and new plantings by Aug. 1.
