Planning Board · Meeting of January 15, 2026

Peabody's Planning Board endorsed a Lowell Street land division and elected officers. The board approved a Form A plan, dated Dec. 23, 2025, for 309 Lowell Street, a 66,340-square-foot parcel with a house and barn. The plan shows lots A, 1 and 2 and a utility easement expected to carry sewer from Lowell Street.

Attorney John Kelty's narrative said a shared driveway for two lots could limit curb cuts. Members then elected Tom Betancourt chairman, John Ford vice chairman and Joe Gagnon secretary on roll calls with no opposing votes heard. New member Jeff Saliba, a Peabody resident since 2015, was welcomed to the board.
