Peabody Planning Board Approves Hotel Permit at 210 Andover Street With 21 Conditions

PEABODY — November 2, 2023 — Peabody planners unanimously approved a hotel building permit at 210 Andover Street while hearing early plans for a sweeping industrial redevelopment and a warehouse addition. The Planning Board voted 6-0 at its November 2 meeting to issue the permit for the project at Zero Prospect Street, also known as 210 Andover Street, subject to 21 conditions set out in same-day memos from Engineering Director Robert Langley and the Community Development Department. Developer Tishman Spyer then presented plans to raze the former Analogic campus at 8 Centennial Drive and build four warehouse buildings totaling 710,000 square feet, targeting delivery in 2026 to 2027, with the project continuing to December 7 for peer review. Christian Book Distributors, the country's top books-and-Bibles distributor with about 600 employees, outlined an 82,000-square-foot infill addition at 140 Summit Street to consolidate an off-site rental warehouse, with that matter also continued to November 16.
