Peabody Named TDI Fellowship District for Downtown Revitalization
Peabody has been named one of six Massachusetts communities to receive a state-backed Transformative Development Initiative fellow, a three-year program aimed at boosting downtown investment, according to a report from Peabody Patch.

The Peabody Institute Library has updated its South and West Branch hours, effective July 6, with the West Branch and South Branch now open Monday and Tuesday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., both branches closed Fridays and Sundays. The Main Library on Main Street continues to offer expanded hours, open until 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
The library also continues to promote its digitized Peabody Newspaper Archives, spanning coverage from September 1844 through the present, with material from 1979 onward viewable only on library computers due to copyright restrictions.
