Peabody Home Sales Range From $440,000 to $975,000 in Late-Summer Stretch

Fifteen property transfers were recorded in Peabody between Aug. 3 and Aug. 7, though only six deeds disclosed a sale price. Those prices ranged from $440,000 for a Walnut Street condominium unit to $975,000 for a Catherine Drive property, with a median of $685,750. Six of the nine undisclosed-price transfers moved property from individual owners into trusts held by the same person or family, a pattern common in estate planning. No street had more than one recorded sale.
